Logo Design for Global Health Travel Clinic
Global Health Travel Clinic is in the West Byfleet Health Centre near Weybridge and Woking in Surrey. Run by pharmaceutical specialists and focusing on safe and effective world wide travel health matters ranging from vaccinations, first aid kits and mosquito nets to malaria prophylaxis.
They approached poppi design to design a logo, responsive website and business stationery. They wanted a professional, clean, modern simple design with an aspirational feel (want to travel). After taking the initial brief I researched a few directions for the brand. The route chosen was a take on a travel stamp. The icon in the middle hints at a compass / satnav / aeroplane.
Website and business stationery to follow...

Branding and website design for Early Years Connected
The brief was to create an approachable, personable
brand that would feel welcoming, friendly and fun. After the branding
was established the aim was to build a fully responsive website that
targeted a specific audience - people working in early years profession.
Including: childminders, pre-school workers, nursery workers etc. Most
of the target audience work with children which means that are
comfortable with ‘art and craft’ and they respond to colour. They have
to be imaginative and playful in their job so the branding and website
design needed to reflect this. A fun brand that is visually appealing,
inviting and creative without looking to childlike.
The website is a completely free resource for all
in the UK who work in the world of Early Years. The idea is simple - the
more who advertise Early Years jobs, discuss good practice and share
experience, the more support can be given. Website includes jobs board
and community forum. A truly exciting project to be involved in.
